LIST
Recommended personal gear for wilderness trips. Weather may vary
during the hunt from very warm to cold and snowy. It is different
every year, so it is best to be prepared for everything. We recommend
the layered system of dressing.
___1 pair of comfortable camp shoes
___1 pair of warm, water resistant hunting/hiking/riding boots—we
recommend Schnee’s or Sorrel boots
___Extra felt liners for boots
___Wool socks—at least 4 pairs
___Plenty of cotton or regular socks
___At least 2 complete changes of clothes
___2 pairs of long underwear
___personal toiletries (toothbrush, glasses/contacts, personal medications
etc.)
___towel
___WARM SLEEPING BAG & PILLOW
___warm coat (we recommend wool)
___light coat
___warm cap with ear flaps
___bandana
___two pairs of gloves
___down or wool vest
___hunter orange vest (at least 400 sq. inches)
___hunting pants (wool, gortex lined, or other water resistant material)
___large caliber rifle with sufficient ammo (300’s are good)
___HUNTING LICENSE
